“Although I only used the new AMS ice rink on a limited basis during its inaugural year of 2015, I found the facility to be a great addition to the town of Amherst’s outdoor Winter fun and exercise initiatives. Hopefully it will be back again next year and, perhaps a few sheets of plywood for backstops behind the goals will help keep pucks on the ice surface and not sailing into the woods. Also some lighting with timers to prevent late night usage and to maintain respect for the neighbors would be desirable.”
