Furnishing the Buck Meadow Clubhouse
The Amherst Parks and Recreation Department has been fortunate enough to rebuild the interior space at the Amherst Buck Meadow Clubhouse to complete a badly needed community meeting space where civic meetings, senior programs, youth programs, private rentals and much more can be held. Upon opening, the space has been in great demand with delighted users.
One of the last phases of the upgrade to the building is to purchase comfortable tables and chairs at a cost of $5,200 The chairs that came with the building were well used, uncomfortable and unwieldy. The new modern chairs are stackable and much more comfortable for all to enjoy as well as fitting in with the more modern décor of the room.
